What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with some friendly rivalry.
Earlier this month, Oban High School teachers and staff went head-to-head in the hotly-contested Christmas Door Competition.
The contest received more than 70 entries and after hundreds of votes, four came out on top.
Winner of the public vote was Cara Potts and her class, while Damian Heaney and his class had the school captains’ backing.
Argyll and Bute Council’s policy lead for education Yvonne McNeilly was this year’s guest judge.
She chose Benita Hensman-Martin and her class, while head teacher Peter Bain gave his vote to Laura Currie and her class.
Posting on social media, the school said: ‘The standard was superb and obviously it was a difficult decision for the judges. Thank you to all teachers and their pupils who put in so much time and effort across the school to create a wonderful atmosphere at this festive time.’
