Retailers in Oban can look forward to an extremely prosperous new year if recent sales of Love Oban vouchers are anything to go by.

Sales of the gift cards, which can be redeemed at more than 50 local retailers, have gone through the roof this year with a last-minute rush expected to boost them even more before the big day.

The scheme run by Oban’s Business Improvement District (BID4Oban) is going from strength to strength since it was launched over six years ago.

BID chief executive Andrew Spence said: ‘So far, 2019 is proving to be the busiest years ever for sales of the vouchers.

‘Over recent weeks many locals, have been taking advantage of the recent promotion. By buying and using Love Oban vouchers you are ensuring that local shops and businesses are supported.’

Vouchers are available to purchase from various businesses in Oban, including the BID4Oban office. Full details on
