Now in its fourth year, McCaig’s Warehouse in Oban is running its Christmas campaign, collecting gifts for residents at Eadar Glinn Care Home.

Customers have until Christmas Eve to help spread festive joy, before the presents are wrapped and delivered to residents.

Marion Chamberlain, store supervisor, said: ‘This is probably the fourth year we have done it. Every year it seems to be getting a lot better. A lot of people are seeing it more and they are coming in, which is great.

‘It is just really to give something back to the community and Christmas sometimes is a little bit lonely, so it helps them a wee bit.’
