Two former pupils of Lochaber High School are in the news this weeek after being honoured at the recent Scottish Gaelic Awards night in Glasgow.

Anna Munro, from Canna, won the award for Gaelic as an Economic Asset, with her graphic design business, Graficanna, while Dawn MacPhie, from Mallaig,  won the award for Innovation in Education.

Ms MacPhie commented: ‘Obviously we are both absolutely delighted to have been nominated, never mind to have won!’
