Arisaig WI held its November meeting on October 21 when the speaker was Kate Mundell, who gave us a talk and slide show of her Billy’s adventures in Australia and New Zealand, laced with anecdotes which were entertaining.

Tea was then served and business carried out. The competition results:-
Anzac biscuit was won by June Cairns. Items from Australia and New Zealand – 1, Vera MacDonald, 2, June Cairns, 3, Anne Cameron. The raffle was won by Ann Lamont.

The next meeting on December 5 and will be our Christmas luncheon in The Old Library. Our January meeting will be in the Astley Hall on January 16 at 2.30pm. New members most welcome. Morag Keenan will up-date us on the work being done in Sierra Leone.
