St Bride’s Primary School Christmas fair is on Thursday November 28, from 7pm-9pm at the school. Usual stalls including raffle, homebaking and crafts.

Songs of Praise in Kilmallie Free Church, 7pm, on Friday November 29. A social evening of singing and music. Everyone welcome.

Kilmallie Community Company will be running a work party at Corpach Pine Wood on Saturday November 30, from 10am to 12.30pm. Meet at the end of Farrow Drive. All volunteers welcome. The main job is to clear paths. Other jobs include clearing up any litter and removing rhododendron. For further information contact Paul Biggin 01397 772459.

Fort William Board Mania table top games club will be running on Sunday December 1, 8 and 15 from its new venue of Fort William FC clubhouse in Claggan. The club runs from 2pm-4pm and is £2 for the first child with £1 each additional sibling – adults are free but must stay to accompany their children. There will be a Highland Hospice Light up the Highlands Christmas carol service on Monday December 2, at the Faith Mission Hall, Fort William,
at 6.30pm. Everyone welcome and refreshments will be served.

Lochaber Ladies have an event at the Montrose Centre, Inverlochy, on December 2 at 7.15pm. Demonstration by Liz MacMaster using Christmas leftovers.

The Music Shed Community Choir Christmas carol concert will be at St Andrew’s Church Hall in Fort William on Tuesday December 3 at 7.30pm. Entry free.

Fort William Accordion and Fiddle Club next night is on Tuesday December 3, in The Railway Club, Inverlochy. The guest artists are the Ross MacPherson Trio. Admission is £5 and it starts at 7.30pm. The January club night is on Tuesday January 6 and the guest artists are the Hector MacFadyen Trio.

On Monday December 9, Lochaber Sensory Care will have outreach clinic sessions visiting Acharacle Medical Practice from 10.30-11.45am, followed by Dail Mhor Care Home from 1pm-2.30pm.

The Nevis Centre in Fort William will host a blood donor session on
Wednesday December 18, from 1.30-4pm and 5.30-7.40pm. To book your appointment call 0345 90 90 999 Mon to Thurs, 9am-7pm/Fri 9am-5pm.
Bookings must be made by 4pm the day before your session.
