Sunday December 1, Rannoch to Corrour, Rannoch Moor.
Train to Rannoch, walk to Corrour, return by train to Bridge of Orchy.
Limited parking available at Bridge of Orchy Stn. Alternatively, use the large CP S of Bridge of Orchy Hotel at NN29739. From Rannoch station head east along the B846 for about 2Km.
At NN458575 turn left on to a track. 600m after crossing a bridge at NN 435603 the track becomes a path and shortly afterwards splits. Take the left fork, leaving the river, and head up the lower slopes of Sron Leachd a’Chaorainn.
The path continues to the ruins of Corrour old lodge under the flank of Carn Dearg, and round to Peter’s rock. Head west from here down to the end of Loch Ossian and the track to Corrour station. Return train to Bridge of Orchy is at 1825.
Height to climb: 380m.

Thursday December 5, Carn Dearg (North), Glen Roy.
Park 400m before Brae Roy Lodge, NN333911.
Walk up the private road and at Turret Bridge take the left hand fork. Continue to a fank in Glen Turret.
Cross the Allt Eachach and continue NE up the glen to the watershed at 570m.From here, walk N to the summit of Carn Dearg, 815m.
Return by walking SW down the ridge to reach Glen Turret.
Height to climb: 715 m

Saturday November 30, Fraoch Bheinn, Sgurr Mhurlagain, Loch Arkaig.
Two Corbetts easily accessed from Strathan at the head of Loch Arkaig. Do one, or both.
Start from the end of the public road at the head of Loch Arkaig, NM987916, where limited parking is available.
Head W on the track into Glen Dessarry for 1km.
At NM978916, just W of the
Dearg Allt, turn N up a path and follow it up towards the S ridge of Fraoch Bheinn. Continue up to the summit, 858m. Turn E and descend steep rough ground to reach a broad col at NM994937, 458m. A path leads SW from the col down to the track in Glen Dessarry.
* For the 2nd Corbett, continue E up the flank of the SW ridge of Sgurr Mhurlagain to its crest. Turn NE and head up to the summit. Return to the col and descend SW on the path to the track in Glendessary. Head E back to the start.
1st Corbett: 9km, 798m ascent
* Both Corbetts: 14km, 1220m ascent.
