Four young volunteers from Oban Otters Swimming Club recently trained with four trainee sports coaches from Atlantis Leisure to gain their Poolside Helper Certificate.

This is an eight-hour training course designed by Scottish Swimming and delivered by Coach Emma Darcy who explained: ‘The course aims to provide knowledge, skills and understanding to assist poolside.’

All participants have found the training invaluable and have particularly enjoyed the contrast between Learn to Swim and Club Swimming.
