SUTTON – In Perth, Western Australia, on November 11, 2019, to Andrew and Eilidh (née Clark), a beautiful daughter, Aila Ann.

BRYARS – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban, surrounded by her family, on Friday, November 15, 2019, in her 71st year, Alexis (Lexy) Bryars, beloved wife of Donald, much loved mum of Darin and the late Craig and mother-in-law of Cheryl, and loving nana of Nicole, Rachel, Arran and Luca.

COUZIN – Peacefully at Argyll Care Centre, on November 11, 2019, formerly of Tobermory. Funeral service at Cardross Crematorium on Friday, November 22 at 2.15 p.m.

GIBB – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban, on November 14, 2019, after a long and courageous battle, Ian William, (China), aged 52 years, beloved son of Bill and Aileen, dear brother to Evelyn, Fiona and Callum, adored father to Amy, Emma, Charlotte and Darren and doting grandfather to Cody, Hannah, Daisy and Lauren. Funeral service will take place at Muckairn Parish Church, Taynuilt, on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1.00 p.m. thereafter to Muckairn Cemetery. Family flowers only. Retiral collection donations will be taken for the Macmillan Day Bed Unit, Oban.

JACKSON – William MacLeod (Bill), formerly of Kinlochleven, peacefully at Balquidder House Care Home, Alexandria, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, dearly loved husband of Sheila and brother to Ann. At his own request he will be cremated privately and his ashes scattered on Loch Linnhe at Cuil Bay, a place of happy memories.

JARDINE – Sarah (née Patton). Peacefully at McClymont Nursing Home, Lanark on November 16, 2019, aged 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill and wonderful loving mother to Aird and Ainsley. An adored and cherished Grandma to Aird, Andrew, Alicia and Blair and much loved mother-in-law to Linda and Derek. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 26, at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre at 11 a.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited.

LIVINGSTONE – Suddenly in Inverkip on November 16, 2019. Ian, son of the late Mary and Dugald of Lismore, much loved father of Douglas and James, father-in-law, grandfather and brother of Jean and Moira. Funeral service will be held at Greenock Crematorium on Tuesday, November 26 at 13:00 p.m. to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only.

MACDONALD – Peacefully after a short illness at Uist and Barra Hospital, Benbecula on Monday November 4, 2019, Hector, son of the late Margaret and Michael MacDonald, West Gerinish. Loving father of Sarah and Laura. Fortified by the rights of the Holy Catholic Church. RIP.

MACDONALD – Effie passed away at her home in Middleton, Isle of Tiree on November 8, 2019 aged 91 years. Loving mum of Mairi-Anne, mother-in-law of Neil and dear Nanny of Kieran, Kyle and Ryan. Will be sadly missed by all.

McPHAIL – Peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019, in Ashgrove Care Home, Dunoon, Alexandra Ann MacLeod (Sandra), beloved wife of John, lovely mum of Aileen and Lindsey and a much loved and loving gran to John, Grant and Laurie. The funeral service will be held in Strachur Parish Church on Wednesday, November 27 at 11.00 a.m., and thereafter to Strachur Cemetery, to which all are respectfully invited. McRAE – Peacefully, at Cradlehall Care Home, Inverness, on November 15, 2019, with her family by her side, Nancy, (Annie), aged 88 years, formerly of Moray Drive, Balloch.  Beloved wife of George, loving mother of Evelyn and Angela, dear mother-in-law of Teddy and Andy, much loved granny and great-granny.  Funeral service will take place at Bunessan Parish Church, Isle of Mull, on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 12 noon, thereafter to Suidhe Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

MILLIKEN – Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, John, in his 85th year, formerly of Mingulay, Oban, loving husband of the late Morag Milliken, devoted dad of Kerry, Rona and Gregor, father-in-law of Billy and Samantha and doting grandpa of Patrick, Leyla, Andrew, Fraser, Jamie and Adam and a proud great grandpa to Harry, Hannah and Abbie. Funeral will take place at Oban Parish Church, Glencruitten Road, Oban, on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Pennyfuir Cemetery. Colourful ties welcome. Family flowers only, donations if desired, for Mary’s Meals.

CRAIG – Carole and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind wishes, cards, phone calls and flowers received following the sad loss of Irene. Grateful thanks to Catriona of Hoeys Funeral Directors for sympathetic yet professional attention to the funeral arrangements. Thanks to the Rev Dugald Cameron for an uplifting service and thanks also to the church officer, elders and organist Norman Nicholson. To Petals and Thistle and Rose for lovely floral tributes and the Royal Hotel for an excellent buffet. To Dr Waddington, Dr Adams and the wonderful Community Nurses for care given to Irene recently. Special thanks to all the staff at Eader Glinn who made the last four years of Irene’s life so comfortable – she loved you all. DAVIDSON – Bill. Marion, Andy, Kenny and family would like to thank everyone for their care, telephone calls, cards and kindness shown to them before and after the recent passing of Bill, especially the staff at Dail Mhor House, Dr Swan and District Nurse Annie MacLean who cared for Bill during his final days. Thanks also to Rev. Donald MacCorqudale and Rev. Richard Baxter for a lovely service, to Manson & MacBeath Funeral Directors for all their help, care and compassion, to McDonald Bros. for the beautiful wreaths and last but by no means least to all of the people who came to support us at the Duncansburgh Church and who helped raise the magnificent sum of £820.71, which the family would like to give to the Dail Mhor House Fund, for the benefit of Dail Mhor House residents.

MACLEAN – Chrissie, Marion, Margo and families wish to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them in their recent sad loss of Archie. We have been overwhelmed by messages, cards, flowers, telephone calls and visits. MACLEAN – (née Brady). Roddy-Paul and Maria (Lee) and families would like to thank all relatives and friends for the kindness shown on the recent sad loss of their mum, Agnes. To the many who sent cards, visited and telephoned and to those who attended Mum’s funeral, may we express sincere thanks for your support at this difficult time. We would particularly like to thank the dedicated staff at Cameron House Care Home, Manson & MacBeath Funeral Directors for their efficiency and professionalism, Rev. Father David Connor, St. Mary’s RC Church, Fort William, for his comforting service and the Alexandra Hotel, who provided refreshments afterwards.
