GIBB – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban, on November 14, 2019, after a long and courageous battle, Ian William, (China), aged 52 years, beloved son of Bill and Aileen, dear brother to Evelyn, Fiona and Callum, adored father to Amy, Emma, Charlotte and Darren and doting grandfather to Cody, Hannah, Daisy and Lauren. JACKSON – William MacLeod (Bill), formerly of Kinlochleven, peacefully at Balquidder House Care Home, Alexandria, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, dearly loved husband of Sheila and brother to Ann. At his own request he will be cremated privately and his ashes scattered on Loch Linnhe at Cuil Bay, a place of happy memories.
JARDINE – Sarah (née Patton). Peacefully at McClymont Nursing Home, Lanark on November 16, 2019, aged 86. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill and wonderful loving mother to Aird and Ainsley. MILLIKEN – Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, John, in his 85th year, formerly of Mingulay, Oban, loving husband of the late Morag Milliken, devoted dad of Kerry, Rona and Gregor, father-in-law of Billy and Samantha and doting grandpa of Patrick, Leyla, Andrew, Fraser, Jamie and Adam and a proud great grandpa to Harry, Hannah and Abbie. Funeral will take place at Oban Parish Church, Glencruitten Road, Oban, on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Pennyfuir Cemetery. Colourful ties welcome. CRAIG – Carole and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind wishes, cards, phone calls and flowers received following the sad loss of Irene. DAVIDSON – Bill. Marion, Andy, Kenny and family would like to thank everyone for their care, telephone calls, cards and kindness shown to them before and after the recent passing of Bill, especially the staff at Dail Mhor House, Dr Swan and District Nurse Annie MacLean who cared for Bill during his final days.
