CAMPBELL – Steven and Isla (McColl) are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy Blake McColl Campbell born on Friday, October 18, 2019. Third grandson for Stuart and Moyra Campbell, Oban and third grandchild for Robin and the late Madaline (Mairi) McColl, Benderloch. Special thanks and gratitude to all midwives and staff from Oban Maternity and Royal Alexandra, Paisley.
MACFADYEN – TUCKER – Alison and Nicholas are delighted to announce the birth of their son Peter John on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. First grandchild for Carole and Neil MacFadyen, Connel and Melanie and the late Stuart Tucker, South Wold, Suffolk.

DEATHS
BAUGHEN – Margaret (née Harkins) died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 19, 2019 in her 100th year. Much loved mother of Gail, Gordon, Eleanor and Maria, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Funeral will take place on November 12 at 12.00pm at The Visitation in Taynuilt. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Marie Curie.
MACDONALD – Martha Isobel Macdonald, 4 Bogach, Northbay, Isle of Barra. Passed peacefully at home on October 20, 2019, aged 88 years. Much loved mum, nana, sister and friend. Fois agus sith.
MACPHERSON – Fred MacArthur, passed away peacefully at home in Stranraer, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, aged 84 years. Formerly of Culcharron and Blarcreen. Loving husband of Tina and much loved father and grandfather. Funeral arrangements to follow by window intimation notices.
WOOD – Peacefully, at the Mid Argyll Hospital, on October 17, 2019, Robert Alexander Wood, in his 83rd year, of McLullich Buildings, Lorne Street, Lochgilphead, beloved husband of Cathie (MacKay) and much loved father of Flora, Lachlan, Wilma and May. Much respected father-in-law of Lee, Moira, Iain and Angus, adored grandpa of Jamie, Lucy, Mark, David, Holly, Innes, Eleanor, Emily, Evan and Brodie and great grandpa of Jackson. Dear brother of the late David and Alison, and a good neighbour, former work colleague and dear friend to many. Funeral service was held at Cardross Crematorium, on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Sadly missed by all.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
CAMERON – Mary Carmichael, peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Eadar Glinn, formerly of Achnamoine, Benderloch. The family would like to thank all of Mary’s carers at home, at Lorn and Islands Hospital and Eadar Glinn who all made her later years so comfortable and allowed her wishes to be met. Thanks to D&A Munn for funeral arrangements, Donald MacKinnon for his thoughtful and comforting service and to all friends and family for their kind words and support following Mary’s passing. A retiring collection raised the sum of £473.60 for Therapy Ponies Scotland.
