Argyll and Bute’s Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking community volunteers to join its team.

Residents of Oban, Lorn and the Isles with either care experience or community council involvement are being encouraged to apply.

Health and social care issues will be the focus, so a strong knowledge of their implementation in the local area is essential.

Successful applicants will join their Locality Planning Group, a collection of various community members involved in the care sector, from council staff to carers.

The group will meet throughout the year to discuss and implement ways of improving residents’ lives throughout Oban, Lorn and the Isles.

Those applying as carers will also have the opportunity to join the region-wide Carers Partnership, which will allow connections to be made with care representatives across Argyll and Bute.

To apply or for more information, contact Laureen McElroy, by email at: by Friday November 15.
