Witness appeal

Between 6pm on Sunday September 29 and 9am on Monday September 30, outside the Royal Mail delivery Office, Charlotte Street, Bowmore, a Royal Mail van was damaged by having the passenger side wing mirror knocked off. Police are investigating.

Dangerous driving

About 2.10am on Sunday September 29, on Main Street, Bowmore, a collision occurred between a red Vauxhall Corsa and a parked car. On Saturday October 12, a man aged 43 was charged with dangerous driving. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Damage to vehicle

Between 7.40pm on Sunday September 29 and 1.25m on Monday September 30, on School Street, Bowmore, a black Ford car was damaged by being struck by another vehicle which failed to stop. Police are investigating.

Breach of bail

About 5.20pm on Monday October 7, in Quarry Road, Oban, a man aged 28 breached bail conditions by approaching a woman. Police arrested and charged the man who was held for court. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

About 1.55am on Friday October 11, in Scalpay Terrace, Oban, police were called to a disturbance. Subsequently a man aged 31 was arrested for behaving in an abusive manner with an axe and a sword. He was charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Assault

About 10.50pm on Friday October 11, in Glenmore Road, Oban, police were called to a disturbance. A man aged 46 was arrested for assaulting a woman and another man. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the
procurator fiscal.

Drugs found

About 5.15pm on Sunday October 13, on the A85 near Pennyfuir, Oban, a vehicle was stopped and two men were searched. A man aged 23 was found to have cannabis and was issued with a recorded police warning.

Possession of knife

About 4.10pm on Saturday October 12, on the B8073 near Tobermory, police were called to a disturbance. A man aged 23 was arrested for behaving in
an abusive manner and being in possession of a knife. He was charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
