Oban Distillery welcomed two new Game of Thrones-inspired Scotch whiskies last week.

Created by Johnnie Walker, alongside HBO Licensing and Retail, the new spirits were inspired by the two of the most powerful houses in the Seven Kingdoms. From House Stark comes A Song of Ice, from House Targaryen, A Song of Fire.

From October 4 until October 11, Game of Thrones fans in Oban had the opportunity to pay homage to the show.

Oban Distillery offered whisky tastings of the new blends and two new A Song of Fire and A Song of Ice-inspired cocktails.

Deirdre Henderson, Oban Distillery manager, said: ‘Johnnie Walker White Walker was a massive success at our brand home and our customers are eagerly anticipating the launch of the two new collectors’ bottles. The two new variants allow fans to revisit their favourite show and celebrate the amazing new liquids as the Seven Kingdoms take over our distillery for the week.’
