Oban – United Auctions on Tuesday October 8 sold 1784 lambs and sheep at Oban Livestock Centre. All classes sold well and to a good following of buyers. Breeding sheep were in keen demand.

Fort William – Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd on Thursday October 10 sold 1,283 store sheep of all classes.

Lambs (797) sold to £57 gross (twice) for a pair of Crosses and a Blackface from Insh Farm, Spean Bridge.
Ewes (428) sold to £59 gross for a Cross from Ardtornish Farms, Morven. Feeding sheep (58) sold to £46 gross for Cross wedders from Monessie Farm, Roy Bridge.

Dalmally – United Auctions on Friday October 11 sold 958 suckled calves. An excellent show of quality bred suckled calves was presented to a large following of regular buyers attending this event annually.
