‎Morvern Community Development Company announced the results of the public art competition during the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations recently.

The winner was Burach Choir with Standing Stones, with second prize going to Krijn Hamelink with Antler Seats and third prize taken by Rachel Bolton with the Morvern Arch. Special mention goes to young Isla Mackechnie, who was the only primary school child who submitted a fantastic idea for the competition.

Things now move to stage two of the competition and organisers will work with all three finalists as the finished piece of public art is envisaged to consist of elements of all three ideas above.
