CUTHILL – (Spean Bridge) – Robert. Peacefully in the Belford Hospital on Thursday, September 19, 2019.  Funeral Service will take place on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1pm in the Duncansburgh MacIntosh Parish Church, followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for The Men’s Shed and CAU Ward Belford Hospital. 
GATWARD – Murdoch. At home peacefully with his family beside him after enduring a long illness with courage and dignity. Murdoch’s funeral will take place at the Parish Church, Glencruitten Road on Friday, September 27 at 1pm. All welcome, black clothes optional, kilts encouraged. Family flowers only.
MACCUISH – Kathleen Addison, peacefully on September 19, 2019, aged 86 in Bavaria, Germany. Much loved mother of Roderick, Valarie and Donald. A loving granny to Campbell, Jennifer, Michael, Nicole, Stephanie, Tamara and Vanessa. Great-grandmother of 6. Much loved and respected mother-in-law of Marian and Sonja. R.I.P.
MACKINNON – Suddenly, at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, on September 19, 2019, Ian MacKinnon, in his 82nd year, of 37 Highbank Park, Lochgilphead, beloved and loving husband of Andrina, cherished father of Sinclair, much respected father-in-law of Pam, dearly loved papa of Kerri, Hayley and Lesley and proud great papa of Harris and Emilee. A good neighbour and dear friend to many. Funeral service will be held in Lochgilphead Parish Church, today, Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Achnabreac Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations to British Heart Foundation.
MITCHELL – Peacefully at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on September 11, 2019, surrounded by family, Florence, formerly of Kinlochleven, youngest sister of Jean, Rita and brothers Roy and the late Sandy. Much loved and missed by family and friends.
MUNRO – Isabella (Donn) (Loanhead). On Friday, September 20, 2019 at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Isabella, loving wife of the late Douglas, loving mum of the late Violet and a dear sister, auntie and friend. Service to be held at Loanhead Parish Church on Monday, September 30 at 12 noon, thereafter interment at Loanhead New Cemetery (Hunter Avenue) at 12.30pm to which all are welcome.
REYNOLDS – Kathleen Anne Reynolds, M.B.E., died peacefully on September 17, 2019, age 93 years. Born August 23, 1926, in El Blida, Algeria. Mother of Fiona and Bee. Grandmother of Daniel, Marguerite and Benjamin. Great-grandmother to Chester and Harvey. Special thanks to all Anne’s carers, the medical professionals and the wonderful staff at Invereck House, Dunoon, Argyll. A private cremation service will take place.
MACDONALD – Anne and Mairi were overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them from relatives, friends and neighbours following the recent passing of Douglas (Dougie). Sincere thanks for all the messages, callers, cards, flowers and gifts at this very sad time, and sincere gratitude to the professionalism, care and attention to detail from Ian MacInnes of D&A Munn, the compassion, support and dignified service from Donald MacKinnon and to all those who attended Cardross Crematorium and the Manor House Hotel and Gregor who also provided excellent hospitality, all of which enabled us to carry out Dougie’s wishes with a level of dignity reflective of his life. A special thanks also to all the staff of Ward B, Lorn and Islands Hospital who cared for Dougie and supported us during his last few days. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all.
MACGILLIVRAY – We would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming amount of support and kindness received from the people of Strontian, Mull, Oban and beyond following the tragic loss of Linda.  The cards, messages, flowers, visits and gestures of generosity that helped to make this difficult time all the more bearable, but also thanks to those who helped during the accident. A huge thank you to Billy McClymont for all his help and professional services, to Michael Acey for handcrafting such an elegant coffin and to the Isle of Mull Hotel for hosting the reception. Finally thank you to Rev Liz Gibson for conducting such a fitting service, Alasdair Whyte for singing An t-Eilean Muileach so beautifully and to all those who came to pay last respects and raise £1156 for Kidney Research UK and IFAW. Dochie, Laura and family.
MACQUARRIE – Marjorie and Donna extend their deepest thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy and comfort received following the recent sad loss of Donnie. Thanks to Mrs Margaret Sinclair for the comforting services at Inveraray church and Cardross crematorium and to the organist and good friend, Mrs Ethel MacCallum. To Stan Lupton Funeral Directors for professional services and to all the nursing staff at Mid Argyll hospital for the love and care Donnie received there. Finally, thank you to all who attended to pay their last respects and the retiral collection raised £830.00 to be shared between Erskine Hospital and Cancer Research.
TURNER – The family of Kenny would like to thank family and friends for their cards, kind messages and support at this difficult time. Thanks to Hamish Hoey for their services and to Petals for the lovely flowers, also The Royal for the catering. Thank you to those who paid their last respects and for those who travelled.
