Bands take stage at Òran Mòr

Get yourself down to the Òran Mòr this evening (Thursday 26) to have a cèilidh with Heron Valley supported by The Islands. Tickets are still available to purchase from the event page online.

Heron Valley have had a huge year of touring, including a lot of time over in the States, so their first Glasgow show in a while is bound to be a cracker.

The evening is raising funds and building excitement for the Mòd coming to Glasgow – which you may just have noticed if you’ve been reading my letter over the last couple of weeks and months!
Here is a selection of what is happening during Mod week…

What’s on for Youngsters at the Glasgow Mòd

A huge part of the Royal National Mòd, of course, is encouraging children to get involved in Gaelic music and culture, so it is great to see Mòd Ghlaschu 2019 have published an extensive programme of events specifically aimed at children during the week.

All children are welcome to attend, whether they have been competing at the Mòd or not; and many of the events are free entry.
