AMBROSE – Sheena Linkstone Ambrose (née Frew), aged 86, died peacefully on August 15, 2019 after a short illness.  Much loved wife of the late Jamie, mother of Euan and Lucy, grandmother of Elizabeth, Daniel, James, Luke and Beatrice, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed.  Service of Thanksgiving at St Modan’s Church, Benderloch at 11.30 on September 28, 2019.  All welcome.
FLANNIGAN – Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a short illness, on September 6, 2019, aged 64, Gerry, loving husband of Katrina, father and papa.
MACDONALD – Douglas, (Dougie), of Glenshellach Road, Oban, in his 92nd year, passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019, after a short illness in Oban Hospital.  Much loved husband of Anne, father to Mairi and friend to many.  Funeral will take place at Cardross Crematorium, Cardross, on Monday September 16, 2019 at 12.15 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited.
MACEWAN – Peacefully at Royal Alexandria Hospital, Paisley on September 9, 2019, in her 79th year, Betty, our lovely Mum & Nana.  Sorely missed.
MacGillivray – Tragically, as the result of an accident in Strontian on September 1, 2019, Linda MacGillivray of the Isle of Mull. Dearly loved partner of Dochie Maccormick, beloved mum of Laura, adored grandma of Isla and Bella, much-loved sister of Kenny and Catherine and the late James and Robert. Daughter of the late Neil and Janet MacGillivray, Mull. Service to be held on Wednesday, September 18, at 11.30am at Salen Church, Mull, followed by interment at Kilfinichen Cemetery, and a celebration of Linda’s life at the Isle of Mull Hotel, Craignure. Family flowers only. Donations welcomed for Kidney Research UK or the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
MACINNES –  John Joseph
(‘n Eosag). Peacefully at home with his wife and family on September 3, 2019. Beloved husband of Katie and dearly loved father, grandad and great-grandad. Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all of his family and everyone who knew him.
MACKAY – At her home in Dunbeg, on Monday September 2, 2019, aged 85 years, Margaret Christina, beloved wife of the late Donald Easdale MacKay.
MACLEOD – On Friday September 6, 2019, in her 95th year, Helen Jane MacLeod (Craik), widow of the late Donnie MacLeod, passed away peacefully at home. Dear mother of Heather, Alison, Diane, and the late Christine, a much loved mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, granny and great granny, Very sadly missed.  Funeral will take place at Glenorchy and Innishael Parish Church, Dalmally, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 1.00 pm.  Thereafter to Dalmally Cemetery.
McKEE – Alison McKee ( nee Maclaren ), passed away peacefully at Ayrshire Hospice Ayr on September 09, 2019 after a period of illness. Much loved wife of the late Archie,
loving mum of Sandy,

TURNER – Peacefully at the Lorn & Islands Hospital, Oban on September 4, 2019, aged 71 years, Kenneth Turner, beloved husband of the late Margaret, a much loved father and seanair.  Rest in Peace.
MACLEAN – On behalf of Mags, Pat, Andrew and Theresa we would like to God Bless all the good people who sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards, flowers, prayers and condolences following the sad and sudden passing of Hector, a much loved brother and uncle.  Thanks to Fr David for all his kindness and for all the many extra details to make the Requiem Mass so special.  Thank you to Hector’s Royal Mail colleagues for the personal contribution and carrying Hector, he would have been so proud.  Special thanks to Deacon Thomas for being such a special, caring and true friend to Hector. To John and Kevin for the music.  Thanks to McDonald Bros for the flowers for Hector and the church, they were perfect. To John and Linnie at John McLellan Funeral Directors, not only for the caring and professional way the funeral arrangements were handled, but for going above and beyond with the extra special, personal care we received as a family to help us at this difficult time. 
STEWART – The family of the late Ann Stewart would like to sincerely thank the many relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and messages of support at this sad time. For all the cards, flowers and home baking gratefully received by our family. Many thanks to Petals for the lovely flower arrangements and to Soroba House for the catering and attentive service provided. Special thanks to Ian Macinnes of D.A.Munn for his caring and professional services throughout this difficult time. We would also like to thank the Rev James Beaton for conducting the funeral service, and for his comforting words. Finally, a huge thanks to all those who came to pay their last respects to Ann and generously donated £396.55 for Argyll Beats Cardiovascular Disease.
