Police in Fort William are appealing for information after three vehicles were set on fire in the town.

Emergency services were called to Fassifern Road around 5am on Saturday September 7 where a van and two caravans were alight. The three vehicles have all been irreparably damaged and officers believe the fire was started deliberately.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Daniel Macrae of Fort William Community Policing Team, said: ‘I urge anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously or any unusual vehicular activity in the area of Fassifern Road in the early hours of Saturday September 7 to come forward.’

Anyone with information about this incident should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference NP2633/19 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, where information can be given in confidence.
