CONNELL – REBANKS – On August 16, 1969 at Craigrownie Parish Church, Cove, Iain Connell to Esther Rebanks, both of Kilcreggan and still at Kilcreggan.
ANDERSON – Peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Sunday, August 11, 2019, aged 54 years, Shona Elizabeth Anderson (née Donaldson), much loved wife of Graham, loving mum of Ailsa, Rona and Matthew. Sorely missed by all who knew her.
LAYCOCK – Peacefully at home on August 11, 2019. Adrian Laycock, a much loved husband, father, stepfather, brother and uncle. Funeral will take place at Cardross Crematorium, Main Street, Cardross on Tuesday, August 20 at 12.15 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Cancer Research UK. Adrian requested bright colours should be worn please.
MACKECHNIE – Peacefully at home after a short illness, on Sunday, August 11, 2019, aged 67 years, Isobel MacKechnie, loving wife to Malky, beloved mum to Marissa, Malcolm and the late Allan, mother-in-law to Ruth, a devoted Gaga and great-granny, loving sister, aunt and friend to many.
PARKINSON – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban on August 11, 2019 in her 91st year, Jane Elizabeth (Jean), beloved wife of the late Arthur Parkinson, dear mother of Peggy and Jay and mother-in-law of Alistair and Frances, much loved nannie of Marie, Alison, Alan, Lisa-Marie and Samantha. R.I.P.
MACLENNAN (Spean Bridge) – Anne and family are very grateful for the support of our neighbours, friends and relatives at the time of Ronnie’s death, for the marvellous care he received from the doctors at Tweeddale, for Jennifer’s sensitive playing at the church and for Canon Gerald Kaye’s comforting and uplifting service. Thanks also to McDonald Bros Florist, and we are most appreciative of the caring services of Linnie and John at McLellan, Funeral Directors.
MACLEOD – Following the sudden, unexpected death of Ruth the family would like to thank most sincerely all friends and neighbours for their kindness and support. We would like to express our appreciation to all who paid their respects at the church and the cemetery. Our special thanks go to Rev. Amanda Fairclough for conducting the service. We greatly appreciated the excellent care Ruth received at the Belford Hospital Accident and Emergency Department and also at The Queen Elizabeth University Trust Hospital in Glasgow. We would also like to thank McFall Funeral Directors for their kind assistance with funeral arrangements, Loch Leven Hotel for catering and Kim at Glencoe Florist for her beautiful flowers.
