Members of the public are being invited to blaze a trail to Oban Community Fire Station on Saturday for a fun-filled Open Day.
In aid of MND Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Family Support Trust, the event will take place from noon until 4pm and will include a display of emergency service vehicles, demonstrations, stalls, games, face painting and much more.
A spokesperson from Oban Community Fire Station said: ‘Both charities are close to our hearts as one of our colleagues, Brian MacDonald, who is originally from Oban and works in Glasgow was diagnosed with MND earlier this year.
‘Family Support Trust is set up to assist injured and ill firefighters through various rehabilitation and other forms of support.
‘We are looking forward to welcoming members of the community of all ages to the station on Saturday.’
