Loganair is to support the Croft and City Tiree Food Pop-Up event for the second year running.
Loganair will transport three guest chefs and a photographer to the event, which takes place on September 20 and 21 on the Inner Hebrides’ most westerly isle.
BBC Saturday Kitchen and Channel 4 Sunday Brunch regular Olia Hercules, Pakistani cuisine expert Sumayya Usmani and classically trained pastry chef Henrietta Inman will be flown to take part in the pop-up.
The weekend will include two supper clubs, with the guest chefs collaborating to create a menu designed to showcase Tiree’s produce, and their own respective heritages along with a film screening of archive footage of women in agriculture in Scotland, in partnership with Screen Argyll’s Sea Change event.
With chefs orginally hailing from Pakistan, Suffolk and Ukraine, the menu will be influenced by the cuisines of those areas while being unified by the produce of Tiree and Scotland.
