At the end of June, Lochaber Yacht Club hosted a very successful visit by the pre- school pupils of St Columbus RC Primary in Caol.

This is following the shore-based visit in February to tie in with the youngsters working on a project on boats.

The children sailed across the loch to have a picnic on the Treslaig shore.

‘Everyone enjoyed steering the dinghies and the RIBs then paddling on the way back since the wind was light. The sunshine made the excursion all the more successful,’ said the club’s commodore, Hamish Loudon.
