An incredible five businesses in Argyll have topped the list of recommended pubs in the 21st edition of The Pub Guide.
Launched on Monday (July 1), the latest edition of the guide showcases a record 2,000 pubs, inns and taverns, with 550 singled out as ‘Pick of the Pubs’, representing the very best AA-recommended pubs in the country.
The Bistro at Loch Melfort Hotel, Arduaine (pictured); Coll Hotel, Arinagour; the Crinan Hotel; Creggans Inn, Strachur; and The Pierhouse Hotel and Seafood Restaurant, Port Appin represent the very best AA-recommended pubs in each region, as selected by the AA’s expert inspectors, editorial team, and reader suggestions.
Many of the businesses included in this year’s guide are also well known for their culinary offerings and accommodation.
