Staff and volunteers from Caol-based charitable organisation Lochaber Sensory Care for Sight and Hearing Support will be visiting Mallaig on Tuesday July 2.

The team will be in the MacKintosh Centre from noon until 1pm to offer support and advice to anyone with a sight or hearing impairment. They will also re-tube, check and supply batteries for NHS hearing aids. From 1.30pm until 3.30pm, the Lochaber Sensory Care representatives will be available at Mallaig Medical Centre. Appointments are not required for this free, friendly service.

Nether Lochaber Community Council is holding its annual general meeting on Thursday July 4 at 7pm in Nether Lochaber Village Hall. Everyone welcome.

Lochaber Women’s Aid is holding a fundraiser entitled ‘Welcome to a Well You’ on Friday July 12 from 7.3pm to 9pm in The Highland Bookshop, Fort William. The £5 entry price includes a drink with all proceeds going to Lochaber Women’s Aid.
