One lane has now opened following the accident on the A85 between Taynuilt and Dalmally, near Cruchan Power Station.

A car overturned on the road at 9am this morning, closing the road in both directions.

Emergency services attended the scene along with the air ambulance. The driver, believed to be the only person in the vehicle, was airlifted to Glasgow.

A crash barrier on the stretch of road was badly damaged and Bear Scotland have been alerted.

Police are warning drivers to take care.
