Assault

At about 12.30pm on Monday June 3, in a Flat in Shuna Terrace, Oban, a man aged 27 allegedly assaulted another man. Police attended and the man was arrested, charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Theft

Between 4pm on Monday June 3 and 4.30am on Tuesday June 4 in High Street, Oban, a Skoda Octavia was entered and a satnav system and cash were stolen.

Break-in

At about 12.15am on Tuesday June 4, various items were stolen from a commercial property on Glencruitten Road, Oban. Subsequently, a man aged 39 was traced, arrested, charged, held for court and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Door damaged

Between Friday May 31 and Monday June 3, the security door at West Bay Flats, Corran Esplanade, Oban was damaged.

Vehicle seized

At about 4.55pm on Wednesday June 5, a car was stopped by police for a routine check on Catalina Avenue, Oban, which revealed there was no insurance for the vehicle and the driver, a man aged 27, was charged with the offence and the vehicle was seized. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Tyre damaged

Between Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, outside a property in Sunderland Drive, Oban, a red Isuzu DMax pick-up had a tyre maliciously damaged.

Diesel stolen

Between 7pm on Tuesday June 4 and 11pm on Thursday June 6, diesel was stolen from a tank outside a property in Salen Road, Lismore.

Trailer taken

Between 2.15pm and 3pm on Thursday June 6, a trailer containing a ride-on mower, a boat engine and two trolley jacks was stolen from outside a property in Hynish Crescent, Oban.

Abusive behaviour

On Friday June 7, at Mossfield Stadium, Oban, two women aged 16 and 27 were arrested for behaving in an abusive manner. The women were both later issued with recorded police warnings.

Assault

At about 1.20am on Saturday June 8, in Dunollie Road, Oban, a woman aged 26 assaulted a man aged 28. The woman was arrested and charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Dangerous driving

At about 10.50am on Saturday June 8, a green or yellow motorbike was driven in a dangerous manner while overtaking on the A816 at Kilmore, Oban. The unidentified motorbike struck a blue Toyota Yaris and failed to stop.

Drunk driver

At about 3.25am on Sunday June 9, at Corran Halls, Oban, a car was stopped and the man aged 47 driving was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol. The man was charged with the offence, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Break-in

At about 11.55pm on Saturday June 8, the Lorn Medical Centre, Oban. was broken into, but no items were stolen.

Abusive behaviour

At about 10pm on Sunday June 9, in the Corran Esplanade and North Pier, Oban, two women aged 18 and 27 were arrested for behaving in an abusive manner. Both were charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Vehicle damaged

Between 6.30pm on Saturday June 1 and 7.30am on Sunday June 2, outside a property in Java Houses, Craignure, Mull, a grey Vauxhall Mokka car was damaged by having a rear wiper and paintwork damaged.
