Oban golfer Bob MacIntyre is up to 13th in the Race to Dubai and 123rd in the world rankings after recording his second successive runner-up finish on the European Tour.

The 22-year-old had a whirlwind May, winning second place in back-to back tournaments – the British Masters and Made in Denmark.

The Glencruitten golfer was back in action recently but third time lucky was not to be as he failed to make it past the round of 64 in the Belgian Knockout, his score seeing him finish joint 34th.

He was back on the green last Monday in a US Open Pebble Beach qualifier. However, he finished outside the top 14 at Walton Heath Golf Club and failed to qualify.

Bob returns to European Tour action at the BMW International Open in Munich on June 20 where he will be joined by vctorious 2019 Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjørn, vice captain Lee Westwood and team member Alex Noren.

Also in the field are Ryder Cup stars Sergio Garcia and Thorbjørn Olesen.
