A man seriously injured in a car accident just east of Spean Bridge on Monday had to be taken to Raigmore Hospital.

A two vehicle collision involving a white Ford Transit van and a Mercedes 220 car occurred on the A86 at Loch Laggan, approximately one mile west of the Creag Meagaidh car park, just before 11.30am on June 6.

The male driver of the van, 25, was taken to Raigmore Hospital with serious injuries although his condition is not considered to be life-threatening.

The road reopened just after 5pm.
