Motorists using the A830 at Loch Eil Station are set to benefit from £185,000 of improvements to the road surface, which started on Monday.
The work, thanks to investment by Transport Scotland, is scheduled to take two weeks to complete and works will take place between 7am and 7pm each day, with the exception of weekends.
There will be 10mph convoy system in place during the works to ensure the safety of road workers and motorists.
All traffic management will be lifted outwith working hours, however a 30mph temporary speed limit will remain while there is a temporary surface.
