The Rotary Club of Lochaber is running a pop-up cafe in the Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church Hall in Fort William tomorrow (Friday May 24) to raise funds for its programme of youth activities which includes competitions, such as Young Chef, Young Musician, Young Artist, and a primary school poetry competition. Soup and sandwiches, tea/coffee and cakes/traybakes will be served from 11am-3pm.

A local craft fair will be held in the Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church Hall in Fort William on Friday 24 May from 11am-3pm. A wide range of crafts including jewellery, knitwear, needle felt, decoupage, wood turned items, art work and plants will be on sale. Tables can be booked by emailing Chris at 1955@cheardman.plus.com

Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church Hall is holding a family fun day on Sunday May 26, 3-5pm for primary and pre-school children with accompanying adults. For more details contact Richard on 01397 702297 or Morag on 01397 703643.

Fort William Photographic Society’s next practical photography evening meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 28, and will meet at Cameron Square, Fort William, at 7pm. All are welcome, including potential new members.

The University of Mount Union Choir from Ohio, USA, will be performing at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church, Fort William, on Tuesday May 28, 7.30pm. Free entry.

Kilmallie Christmas Lights Fund AGM will take place on Wednesday June 5 at Kilmallie Community Centre, Corpach.

Lochaber Provincial Mod will be held on Friday June 7 and Saturday 8 at Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar, Fort William. Entries have now closed.

The Lochaber Vegan Fair takes place on Saturday June 8 from 11am to 4pm at Duncansburgh Church Hall, Fort William. Free entry. More information on the Lochaber Vegan Fair Facebook page.

The second annual Neilly Fraser Trophy tournament will be held at Spean Bridge Golf Club on Saturday June 8. Everyone welcome. All proceeds go towards Spean Bridge Golf Club.
