Oban golfer Robert MacIntyre was honoured in Parliament on Friday May 17, when Argyll MP Brendan O’Hara, in recognistion of his British Masters triumph raised an Early Day Motion in Westminster.

Robert secured second place at the 2019 Betfred British Masters finishing the tournament 15 under par with a remarkable final round which included an eagle at the 17th hole and a birdie at the 18th.

The House commended him on the hard work and dedication he has shown in pursing his dream of being a professional golfer and acknowledged the huge contribution made by everyone at Glencruitten Golf Club in Oban in helping him develop from being a promising young talent through to his turning professional in 2017.
