Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar is holding its annual summer fete tonight (Thursday May 16) from 6pm until 8pm.

Marie Curie Lochaber Fundraising Group is holding a Daffodil Coffee Morning at St Andrew’s Church hall (behind the church), Fort William, today (Thursday May 16). Tea, coffee and homebaking available. For more information contact Claire MacDonald on 07551 703649.

Kilmallie Singers Present: For The Love of Music! Conductor will be Catherine Cameron and accompanist Jennifer Skene. The event takes place in Kilmallie Community Hall on Saturday, May 18, at 7.30pm. Tickets available on the door.

Fort William Rainbows and Brownies are holding a fundraising coffee morning on Saturday May 18 at the Salvation Army Hall, Nevis Place, from 10am to noon. Come and enjoy cake and bacon rolls with your coffee.  Money raised will be shared between Girlguiding in Fort William and the Red Cross disaster fund, a charity chosen by the girls.

Representatives of Lochaber Sensory Care for Sight nand hearing Support will be visiting Abbeyfield Ballachulish Care Home on Monday May 20. The team will be there from 10.30am until 12.30pm to offer help and advice to the Abbeyfield residents and to local people with sight or hearing impairments those NHS hearing aids may require re-tubing and new batteries. No appointment necessary for this free and friendly service.

Kilmallie Christmas Lights Fund AGM will take place on Wednesday June 5 at Kilmallie Community Centre, Corpach.

The Lochaber Vegan Fair takes place on Saturday June 8 from 11am to 4pm at Duncansburgh Church Hall, Fort William. Free entry. More information on the Lochaber Vegan Fair Facebook page.

The second annual Neilly Fraser Trophy tournament will be held at Spean Bridge Golf Club on Saturday June 8. Everyone welcome. All proceeds go towards Spean Bridge Golf Club.
