After week six of the ten pin bowling singles leagues at The Nevis Centre in Fort William it is close at the top of the scratch division where Gary Cowan leads with 97 points followed by Pam Weller with 96 points and Brian Johnstone in third place with 94 points. The handicap league is also still led by Gary Cowan on 85 points followed by Steve Day on 80 points with Tommy McKnight and Ton De Ruk both on 76 points.
Gary Cowan also leads the chase for the Nevis Radio High Pin Trophy with 2680 pins closely followed by Brian Stewart with 2669 pins and Brian Johnstone in third place with 2656 pins.
The top individual scratch game this week came from Ton De Ruk who rolled a game of 192. Also this week Pam Weller had a 182 and Brian Stewart had a 174. Brian Stewart had the best 3 game scratch series this week with 480 giving him this weeks maximum of 20 scratch points followed by Steve Day with 445 and Ton De Ruk with 436. Ton De Ruk had the top handicap game this week of 262 followed by Pam Weller 223 and Brian Stewart with 217. Ton De Ruk gained the maximum 20 handicap points this week with the top 3 game handicap series of 646 followed by Steve Day with 610 and Brian Stewart with 609
