The Fishermen’s Mission (TFM) has launched a charity auction selling ceramic fish sculptures to help raise funds for the organisation.

According to TFM, the ‘Catch of the Day’ online auction will allow people to contribute vital funds to distressed and vulnerable people in the fishing communities.

The charity fundraiser is an auction where they have enlisted some famous faces to paint a ceramic sculpture in the shape of a fish. One is renowned Spean Bridge musician Gary Innes, who created his ‘Rainbow’ piece which will be available in the auction online.

TFM is the only national charity that works to support fishermen and their families.

Mallaig Fishermen’s Mission covers a huge area, reaching out to retired
fishermen, working fishermen and families.

The auction website is live and is available at

The auction will come to a close between today (Thursday May 16) and
Sunday (May 19) at 8pm, depending on the items.
