The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) will be visiting Dunstaffnage Marina today (Thursday May 2).

Members of the public are welcome to go along for a guided tour around their specially equipped research vessel, Silurian.

‘This is a great opportunity to talk to our staff about the research work conducted every year in the Hebrides,’ said a spokesperson for the HWDT.

‘It is also an opportunity for people to check out our monitoring equipment and take a nosy around the cabins and the galley.’

The tour is free but donations would be welcome, booking is not required and tours of the boat will run informally, subject to demand.
