Police in Fort William are appealing for information following the theft of a large quantity of electrical cabling.

A yard at the Ben Nevis Industrial Estate was broken into between 11.10pm on Tuesday April 23 and 1am on Thursday April 24.

A quantity of cabling valued at a mid-four figure sum was stolen.

Detective Sergeant Andy Bilton said: ‘This cabling is very heavy and would have required a vehicle to move it.

‘We would urge anyone who may have seen activity around the industrial estate at the time to let us know, even if it didn’t seem particularly noteworthy at the time.

‘Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 , quoting reference NP1211/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
