Police in Oban are searching for a missing patient who walked out of the town’s hospital this morning.
A helicopter is currently scanning the area and police on foot around Soroba have been stopping members of the public.
Nursing staff have also been seen searching the hospital grounds.
One woman said she had been stopped twice by a police officer and then a middle-aged man in the Soroba area looking for a man who had walked out of the hospital with a head injury.
More details are to follow but a spokesperson for Oban police confirmed a search was on for a person they had concerns about.
