The committee of the North Connel Village Hall, a much-used facility, are in the process of building up a fund for what is now regarded as an essential internal refurbishment of the premises with emphasis on toilets, in particular disabled toilets, along with the provision of showers which will attract a variety of sports bodies.

The Rotary Club of Oban, as part of its support for local initiatives, agreed to donate £500 to NCVH’s  refurbishment programme and president Iain MacIntyre handed over a cheque for this amount to secretary Christine Campbell.
