Lunga-based wildlife and landscape artist Colin Woolf will be showcasing his work in Kilmelford.

Working in watercolour, oils and pencil, Colin creates evocative images of mountains and sea, and his paintings are available to buy at a new restaurant, Room at the Top.

The restaurant, which seats 25 guests, opened on Friday February 22 and is located above the village shop and Post Office, which owner Sarah-Jane Edwards has operated for the past four years.

Working with chef Michael Hinds, Sarah-Jane said: ‘We want to use as much local produce as possible and this is reflected in the menu, which includes locally-caught seafood.’
