The A828 road closures will now take longer than anticipated at some locations, causing further disruption for locals living between Barcaldine and Keil.
The programme for the ongoing resurfacing has been extended and altered to allow more time for the roadworks be completed, which will ensure the safety for all road users.
At Keil, the roads will close for two nights starting tonight (Monday March 4), again from 7pm to 6am. Meanwhile, the Appin House improvements have been pushed back until the end of March. The road will close on Monday March 25 for three days.
Amnesty periods will remain in place, allowing vehicles to pass at specific times each night in order to cause minimal disruption. And traffic restrictions will be removed outside of working hours to help keep any disruption to a minimum.
Anyone using the A828 at this time is advised to check real-time updates on the Traffic Scotland website.
