Skye businesses will have the chance to attend a brand development workshop.

The free workshop, organised by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), will take place in Portree on Thursday March 28.

Leading the workshop will be Lesley Thomson, managing director of a
communications consultancy, and Janice Kirkpatrick, creative director for a design agency.

Speaking before the workshop, Lesley said delegates will be provided with a
tried and tested 10-step process that is practical for businesses at all scales.

Janice added: ‘The brand development workshop is collaborative, engaging and relevant to all businesses, no matter what size or sector.’

Attendees will learn how to communicate their business values effectively. They will also gain knowledge of building their brand in a way that reflects their organisation’s operations while leaving a positive impact on consumers.

Robert Muir, HIE area manager for Lochaber, Skye and Wester Ross, said: ‘This workshop offers Skye businesses and social enterprises an opportunity to define their brand and engage with more customers effectively.’
