Oban Inner Wheel’s Valentine’s tea dance raised £500 for the Dove Centre in Oban.

A happy crowd of dancers and tea-drinkers filled  Glencruitten Church Hall on Saturday February 9, said one of the organisers, Marion Beaton.

Music came from The Re-Searchers getting everyone up on their feet, and the tables were decorated with Valentine hearts and cake stands courtesy of Kay McDonald, ready for a delicious afternoon tea provided by the Inner Wheel members.

‘Just over £500 was raised in support of the Dove Centre by Oban Hospice. Thanks go to all those who came out to support our toe tapping event,’ added Mrs Beaton.
