Greater Glasgow Premier AFL Division 2
South Lochaber Thistle were left disappointed on Saturday after they fell to a 3-1 defeat to mid-table Newshot, their first league game after a lengthy break from action.
Having gone 1-0 down early in the second half, a change of system and personnel seemed to have the desired effect with Danny MacKinnon knocking in the equaliser.
However, Thistle’s failure to finish chances and individual errors ultimately lead to their downfall and their opponents took their chances and deserved their victory on a sunny day in Renfrew.
Next week the Jags take on Strathclyde Uni in Kinlochleven.
