Calderglen 3 – 1 South Lochaber Thistle

League Challenge Cup

South Lochaber Thistle bowed out of the Bobby Thomson Challenge Cup in the third round on Saturday after surrendering an early lead.

The Jags took the lead against the Renfrewshire club after just 15 minutes through Danny MacKintosh, who would soon be substituted after picking up an injury.

Calderglen replied in the 37th minute to level the scores.

After the half-time break the home side were able to double their lead before making it three in the 64th minute. The Jags weren’t able to respond and Calderglen held on for the win.

The Jags are back in action this Saturday away to Neilston in the fourth round of the West of Scotland Cup.
