MACKINNON – WILSON – Both families are delighted to announce the engagement of Kirsty Netta, younger daughter of Iain and Ishbel MacKinnon, Achadhbeag, Tobermory to Ross Booth, only son of Ian and Elizabeth Wilson, Cuilabhaile, Fionnphort.
CALLANDER – Archibald, formerly of Cairndow, passed away at Mid Argyll Hospital, Lochgilphead, on Thursday, December 20, 2018, late of 1 Crosshouses, Inveraray, twin brother of Billy and brother of Nigel. Funeral service will be held at Kilmorich Parish Church, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 12.00noon, thereafter to Kilmorich Cemetery. A retiral collection will be offered for Kilmorich Parish Church Funds.
CANNON – Roger. Peacefully at home with his family, Dr Roger Cannon,
retired GP, beloved husband of Mabel, dearly loved father of Ian, Nikki and Nigel and loving granpa to Fraser, Rachael, Lewis, Kirsten and Ben. Funeral service to take place at Daldowie Crematorium, Broomhouse, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10.45 am. Family flowers only please.
JOHNSTON – Passed away peacefully in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on December 26, 2018, following an illness borne with great dignity, Janet Malcolm Horsburgh Johnston, aged 91 years, “Strathspey”, 47 Boswell Road, Inverness, beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tom) Johnston and dear mother of Pauline. REID – Peacefully at Lorn and Isles Hospital on December 25, 2018 in her 75th year Ann, beloved wife of the late Alasdair Reid and much loved aunt and great-aunt.
MACNEIL – Anne would like to thank Father James MacNeil for celebrating Requiem Mass and for spiritual comfort. Many thanks to neighbours and friends for their kind support, Mass and sympathy cards received following Effie’s passing. Finally my thanks to the attending emergency services and all those who paid their last respects at church and cemetery.
