Graham Fraser of Alba the art shop in Oban recently handed over a cheque for £175.28 to Jennie McMaster of Mary’s Meals.

The money was raised in Alba from a range of Christmas cards produced exclusively for Alba, each marked with a 50p logo to denote how much from every pack goes to Mary’s Meals.

The government UK Gift Aid scheme will now double this donation meaning that the good customers of Alba will have raised  £350.56 to help feed more than one million children every day in a number of countries.
