Seil Sound presents an afternoon of festive music and words this Sunday, December 9.

The community singers will be at Seil Community Hall from 2pm to 4pm in aid of the Seeds For Life project.

The charity based on Seil has helped more than 100 farmers reclaim hundreds of acres of wasteland in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world.

Money raised helps buy seeds and fertilisers to get the smallhold farmers started.

Choir leader Maggie Thorpe said: ‘It’ll be an informal afternoon of festive music and words for people to come and enjoy with us. It’s free entry, with donations to Seeds For Life.’
