Tomorrow night (Friday), the Highland Bookshop in Fort William will host a launch event for a new biography which tackles mental health issues.

Entitled Start, the book is by Graham Morgan and will be launched at 6pm tomorrow.

With an MBE for services to mental health, Mr Morgan helped to write the Scottish Mental Health (2003) Care and Treatment Act and is a devoted advocate for rights and improvements in this area.

Start is an evocative description of living in the Highlands, enduring family break-ups and falling in love while being treated for schizophrenia.

Tickets are £5 (includes a refreshment and £2 off a copy of Start), and are available to buy through the bookshop.
