FINDLAY – Kathleen (née Bonnington), (Selkirk, formerly Achtriachtan, Glencoe). Peacefully at Borders General Hospital on Wednesday November 14, 2018, Kathleen, aged 85 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Huan, loving mum to Nancy and the late Alan (Hugh), mother-in-law of Mark and Adrienne and very proud grandmother of Andrew, Donald, Gregor and Hugh. Funeral service at Glencoe St. Munda’s Church, Ballachulish on Friday November 23 at 11.00am, followed by interment in Duror Cemetery at 12.15 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations if desired will be received on retiring from service for Chest, Heart and Stroke, Scotland.
GRANT – Unexpectedly after a short illness, on Friday 16th November, 2018 at QEU Hospital, Glasgow, in his 84th year, Captain William Grant (Bill), retired seafarer and teacher, loving husband of Frances, proud Dad of Donald, Alan and John and devoted Grandad of Owen and Warren. Funeral will take place from Oban Parish Church, Glencruitten Road, Oban on Friday 23rd, November at 1.00 pm, thereafter to Pennyfuir Cemetery. Family flowers only, but retiring collection or donations if desired for Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society and The Outward Bound Trust.
MARSHALL – Peacefully at home after a short illness, on November 17, 2018, Anne Marshall, aged 64 years, of North Kessock and formerly of Inveroran, Bridge of Orchy. Much loved wife of Gordon, treasured mum of Jennifer and Nicola, loving granny to Isobel and Keir, dear mother-in-law to Duncan, a cherished sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend. Funeral service on Thursday, November 29 at 1pm at Inverness Crematorium. All welcome to attend. Bright colours welcome. Family flowers only please. RONALD – Suddenly on November 14, 2018 aged 78, Fulton of Tyndrum and formerly Keilator Farm since 1966. Beloved husband of Mabel, dear father of the family and much loved Papa of his 11 grandchildren and great-granddaughters. He leaves a big hole behind, but we will keep laughing at his jokes and we will forever remember him fondly. Funeral service to be held in Killin Parish Church at 12 noon on Monday November 26. Interment in Killin Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
CAMPBELL -The family would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kindness and support following the loss of our mother Mary Campbell. Thank you to the staff at Bowman Court for their wonderful care and kindness. Thank you to Rev J Paton for a very special and meaningful service and to Elizabeth Jack for lovely and very appropriate music, especially music by the Gaelic choir. Thank you also to Billy McClymont for excellent funeral arrangements and Salen Hotel for refreshments afterwards. The retiring collection of £472 was donated to Mary’s Meals and Marie Curie.
